Hello! My name is Jörn. I'm 57 years old, live with my family in Bremen, Germany, and have been working as a primary school teacher for over 25 years.
I studied Mathematics and Sports at the University of Bremen. In my daily work with children, I experience time and again: children learn mathematics best through play – and with a strong number sense.
This conviction led me to develop the Mathekiste apps: math applications for pre-school and primary school children that enable playful learning without pressure – lovingly designed, didactically sound and entirely focused on how children learn.
Both apps – Meine Mathekiste 1 and MatheKiste Games – were born from practical experience and are continuously being developed further.
